Following preparation of the site, lightweight QuaBoing is easily spread with a shovel and rake. The end-result is a safe surface that requires minimal maintenance. Review the steps below to ensure proper installation.

Step One: Preparation
Clear intended site area of rocks, stumps, and other debris, including other surface material. Avoid installing over asphalt or concrete as these surfaces compromise QuaBoing's safety performance. Properly grade the area to intended playground level and then firmly compact the surface.
Step Two: Retaining Wall
Install a retaining wall 6" or 8" height to prevent excessive kick-out and to maintain required depth of QuaBoing.
Step Three: Filter Fabric
Secure a quality geo-textile fabric on the surface area to help prevent weed growth. Variations of filter fabric are available at most landscape and garden centers.
Step Four: Surfacing
For optimum safety and performance, fill in the prepared and retained area 4" to 6" deep with QuaBoing.
